Role in Claude Mythos Preview Evaluations

SecureBio co-developed several automated evaluations used in the CB threat model assessment:

• Long-form virology tasks — task-based agentic evaluations testing end-to-end design of complex pathogen acquisition processes (co-developed with Deloitte and Signature Science)
• Multimodal virology evaluation (VCT) — virology-specific multimodal multiple-choice evaluation
• DNA Synthesis Screening Evasion — tests whether a model can design DNA fragments that assemble into pathogenic viruses while bypassing gene synthesis companies’ screening systems

SecureBio’s automated “creative biology” question evaluation was omitted from the Mythos assessment, having been superseded by the expert red teaming operation.
